Yes, writing, for both content and style (beautiful cursive). Students in grades 1 through 7 in the English and writing classes of teacher Elizabeth Brasher wrote poems and essays on diverse topics. Many used the elegant cursive that teachers Lou Ellen Kay and Arielle Lane teach in their own classes. The fine output went up on our big mobile room dividers for all to see.
