September 29th was the Autumn Festival ((中秋节zhōng qiū jié). It is celebrated on August 15th in Chinese Lunar Calendar. It’s a holiday for a family reunion on a full moon day that represents full, completeness and abundance. Our students in the sever different levels of Chinee classes made crafts of the full moon and flowers that symbolize perfect happiness. They also made “moon cakes” with the play dough.
