So many activities

We’ve had so much activity at the LCA these recent weeks!

We’ve made a carousel of images. Each image has imbedded in it the number of the activity it previews

  • (2) Chemistry – two middle-schoolers, Alden and Darwin, with Mr. Vince – week of 11-15 May
  • (3) Grades 1&2 visit NMSU Engineering – already as Instagram post – April 30

  • (9) Iowa Assessments, April 13-17 – our only national standardized testing, which we use to see how well we’re teaching. Our students score so well as years above grade level and gains each year
  • (10) Picnic on the last day, May 22

We also had parties for students who read 10 or more chapter books, that is, real meaty books, this semester. More than half of our students made the parties, some of them multiple times. They had 4,000 books on display to choose from.
