Halloween fun for the students, October 29th and 31st, 2021
We had a Halloween party on Friday, October 29th. There were many imaginative costumes among our students. Teachers Katie, Lou Ellen, and Yulin led the younger students outside to draw Halloween designs on the sidewalk with chalk. Vince did a dramatic science demo of Dry IceTM . Students went trick-or-treating to the teachers, some of whom asked each student a cute question, while others played games. Shortly, students and teachers alike formed a long line to parade around our neighboring plaza.
LCA parents and teacher Elizabeth Brasher proposed a trunk-or-treat evening at the school for the 31st. Twenty-one families showed up, most with decorated cars, along with their students, of course, and teacher Arielle Lane. One family had a wry twist of Christmas decorations!
